SMS Terms & Conditions

SMS Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: October 27, 2025

These SMS Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) describe how Thought Wise Counseling & Neuropsychology (“Thought Wise,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides text message (SMS) communications and the terms that apply when you opt in to receive messages from us.

By consenting to receiving SMS messages from Thought Wise, you agree to these Terms.

1. Program Description

By opting in, you agree that Thought Wise may send you text messages related to:

• Appointment reminders and confirmations
• Scheduling updates (openings, cancellations, reschedules)
• Intake / paperwork reminders
• Billing or account notifications (for example, a balance is due or an item needs attention)
• General operational updates about our practice (office closures, availability, etc.)

We do not send marketing or promotional offers by SMS without your express consent. Carriers require that we describe the types of messages you will receive and identify ourselves in those messages.

2. Message Frequency

Message frequency will vary based on your activity with our office (for example, more messages when you’re scheduling or rescheduling). Carriers require that we tell you that frequency may vary rather than promising an exact count.

3. Charges

Standard message and data rates may apply to any SMS messages we send to you or that you send to us. Your mobile carrier’s rates apply. This disclosure is required for 10DLC approval.

4. How to opt Out

You can opt out SMS messages from Thought Wise at any time by replying STOP to any message.

After you text STOP, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us at that number (other than messages we are legally required to send, if any). Carriers require that STOP immediately ends messaging.

If you opt out by mistake and want to start again, contact us (see Section 8) so we can restore SMS reminders for you.

5. How to Get Help

If you need help with our SMS program, reply HELP to any text we send.

You can also reach us here:

Thought Wise Counseling & Neuropsychology
Phone: (904) 822-0337
Email: info@thoughtwise.com
Website: thoughtwise.com

Including a HELP path with a support contact (phone/email/URL) is required by SMS carriers and part of 10DLC registration criteria.

6. Eligibility / Responsibility

By opting in to receive SMS messages from Thought Wise, you confirm that:

• You are the owner of the mobile number provided to us, or you are authorized to consent on behalf of the owner.
• You are at least 18 years old, or you are a parent/guardian providing the number for appointment coordination for a minor.

You agree to notify us right away if you change or deactivate your mobile number so we can update our records and avoid sending messages to the wrong person. Maintaining accurate subscriber information is part of lawful consent and ongoing 10DLC compliance.

7. Privacy

We respect your privacy. We will not sell or share your mobile number, your opt-in status, or you opt-out status with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes.

For details on how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information (including your phone number and message history), please review our SMS Privacy Policy, which is posted on our website and linked anywhere we collect your phone number.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time (for example, if carrier or 10DLC rules change). When we update them, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above and publish the updated version on our website. Carriers expect that published Terms & Conditions will stay current with 10DLC rules, including consent, STOP, HELP, message frequency, and data rates.

10. Disclaimer

These Terms are intended to help meet current U.S. A2P 10DLC texting requirements, including clear consent, identification of message purpose, opt-out instructions, message frequency disclosure, and cost disclosure. Non-compliant programs can be throttled, blocked, or fined by carriers.

Thought Wise does not waive any legal rights, and nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable law.
