What is Huntington’s disease?
Huntington’s disease is a neurocognitive disorder or a neurodegenerative disease. This means that when you have Huntington’s disease, your nervous system, your brain, and the neurons in your brain (the live connections in your brain) begin to degenerate or decline in functioning.
When you have Huntington’s disease, the disease has a large impact on your brain and functioning.

Is there a treatment for Huntington’s disease?
Currently, there are no modern treatments for Huntington’s disease that can slow the onset and presentations, though there are many ways that you can manage some of the difficulties that you experience.
